Airport consults on noise action plan

A noise action plan for Leeds Bradford Airport has been released to a public consultation. The airport has published a draft plan containing details of how it will minimise noise levels over the next five years, and is inviting locals to have their say before the plan is finalised.
The plan, which can be downloaded from the airport’s website, looks at ways of tackling noise problems whilst allowing it to continue to expand. It summarises the extent of aircraft noise from the airport; details restrictions already in place and sets out proposed actions for the next five years to mitigate the impact that noise from the airport has on local communities.
