Terminal extension plans approved

Leeds Bradford Airport has received planning consent for a £28m extension and redevelopment of its passenger terminal. Architects Pascall+Watson will design a two-storey extension to the existing terminal, and internal improvements.
The plans include a new departure lounge, an expanded passenger-security screening zone, improvements to the domestic baggage reclaim hall, and a remodelling of the airside immigration facilities.
