Airport boss wants more business routes
21.12.09
Bosses at Leeds Bradford Airport are hopeful initial talks with the new Air France - KLM UK head will lead to an expansion of business routes within 18 months. The airport is reported to be keen to add more services to destinations used by business travellers, many of whom currently drive to Manchester Airport to catch direct flights.
Henry Hourcade, the new UK head of Air France - KLM, made his first visit to Leeds Bradford late last week and met with Tony Hallwood, it’s commercial director. KLM operates 3 flights a day between Leeds Bradford and Amsterdam Schiphol, which offers connections to more than 600 destinations worldwide.
