Pakistan flights boosted

Pakistan International Airlines is to increase its non-stop service to Islamabad from Leeds Bradford Airport from two to three times a week from March 30. The decision, announced today, to increase the frequency of the service - only eight months since it launched - was made due to the high demand from travellers in the Bradford and surrounding region.
Tony Hallwood, the airport’s commercial director, said: ‘We have been working with local business, tourism and cultural organisations to ensure the success of this service. We are delighted that demand from the region is now being satisfied with an additional weekly flight.’
