Jet2 make travel trade appointment

Leeds Bradford Airport based budget airline Jet2 has appointed its first 'Tour Operator Sales Manager'. The move comes as the airline seeks to forge stronger links with the travel trade.
Gino Vella, who has over 30 years' experience in the travel industry, has joined the airline at its headquarters at Leeds Bradford. He will support tour operators wanting to book flights from the airline's bases across the North of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Phil Ward, Passenger Sales Director at Jet2, said: 'We are thrilled to welcome such an accomplished member of staff to our team. He will continue building upon the strong links we have between Jet2 and the travel trade.'
'This announcement also very clearly signals our intention to work closely with the trade as we believe that a partnership between Jet2 and the trade is of mutual benefit.'
