Runway closed after light aircraft crash lands

A pilot and passenger away from a light aircraft when it crash landed at Leeds Bradford Airport suffering nose wheel problems. The aircraft landed at 10:04 yesterday with fire engines on standby.
The runway was closed for a short period whist the plane was check and then towed away. This resulted in minor delays and one flight from Belfast was diverted to Manchester.
