Jet2 launch Madeira flights

Yorkshire’s first scheduled flight to Madeira took off from Leeds Bradford Airport this week. The first Madeira bound Jet2 flight departed on Monday, taking passengers to the picturesque Portuguese island. The new service will operate weekly until October 31, with fares from £49.99 one way including taxes.
Ian Doubtfire, managing director of Jet2, said: ‘We are delighted to launch the region’s first and only direct service to the beautiful island of Madeira. With lovely weather, stunning scenery and so much to see and do, we are confident that it will really captivate the region’s holidaymakers.’
