Budget airline Jet has said its Hajj flights were a success after over 2000 pilgrims flew to Jeddah on specially chartered flights. The services took off from Leeds Bradford, Manchester and East Midlands airports.
A spokesman for Jet2 said: ‘We are delighted that we have carried so many pilgrims on this important journey. Working with Sky-Fly Connections and PAK Travels, we are proud of our Hajj flights and are confident the route is building on the success of last year’s operation.’
