Ryanair announce two new winter routes

Ryanair will launch two new routes - to Lithuania and Latvia - from Leeds Bradford Airport this winter. The budget airline will fly to Kaunas and Riga from the start of November.
The new routes will take Ryanair’s winter destinations from Leeds Bradford to 13, and come as it axes routes from a number of UK airports including Edinburgh, Prestwick and Stansted. The airline will fly more than 1 million passengers to an from Leeds Bradford Airport this year.
Tony Hallwood, the airport's commercial director, said: ‘These new services to Riga and Kaunas will be warmly welcomed as the region looks to develop trading links across Eastern Europe. We also look forward to welcoming new inbound tourism visitors on both services, working closely with Welcome to Yorkshire to maximise the benefits for the region.’
