Jet2 to offer in flight entertainment for hire

Jet2 is to offer portable hi-tech in-flight entertainment consoles for hire to passengers. The budget airline has worked with console manufacturer Viliv to produce a device that will be on offer on flights over four hours (to and from the Canary Islands, Greek Islands, Cyprus, Israel and Egypt).
The 7 inch, high definition screen consoles will come with pre-loaded films, TV shows, music and games. Units can be booked ahead of departure on the airline’s website for a fee of £10 per passenger per journey. Family discounts are available.
