Bridgepoint's £145.5m purchase of Leeds Bradford Airport has been named 'deal of the year' at this year's Insider Dealmakers Awards. The ceremony is one of the biggest corporate events in Yorkshire and aims to reward those who have worked the hardest on major deals in the region.
Bridgepoint beat off strong competition to win the award, including from Keepmoat's £783m Management Buyout - the largest MBO ever completed in Yorkshire - and from the secondary buyout at Jemella and Endless' exit from Peter Black.
