Jet2 boss expects more growth

The boss of Leeds Bradford Airport based airline Jet2, Philip Meeson, is bullish about growth prospects in spite of the economic conditions, the Telegraph & Argus reports. He said the airline was experiencing record trading, boosted by the introduction of new services and attractive fares.
Mr Meeson told the newspaper: ‘With a raft of new destinations launched across our six UK airport bases for summer 2009, we are confident our winning combination of low fares and leading customer services will continue to propel us to the forefront of the UK airline industry.’
